Sarah Niazi

Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in Dentistry

Dental Hygiene

I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2017 with my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I returned to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry later that year to begin the MSDH graduate program and received my Master of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. My areas of interest in oral health include community dentistry and education. My graduate research focused on Michigan dental hygiene students’ experiences in service-learning as an indicator of career choice in community dentistry. I currently teach in clinical settings as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Additionally, I am working as a clinician in two general private practices. My professional and clinical skills have been refined by my education and experiences in research, which in turned have fueled my devotion for this profession. Currently, I am a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
