BIOGRAPHY

Dr. David Sarment is Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Michigan School of dentistry, Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine. He is President and member of the Board at Xoran Technologies, an Ann Arbor Company focused on head and neck Computed Tomography scanners. As a researcher at the University of Michigan, he was a clinical investigator on the original NIH grant which started the Company. Dr. Sarment owned a specialty surgical private practice limited to Periodontology. Dr. David Sarment received his dental education in Paris, France. He then obtained his certificates in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis, as well as a Master of Science in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of two textbooks, including one titled “Cone Beam Computed Tomography for Maxillofacial Applications”. He is author or co-author of six book chapters and over thirty peer-reviewed scientific articles. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics of surgery, Cone Beam Computed Tomography and surgical guidance. He is lead author or co-author and several Xoran patents.
