I am a proud graduate from The University of Michigan Dental Hygiene Program where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1994. After graduation I practiced as a clinical dental hygienist before accepting an opportunity to move abroad and work in a private practice in Switzerland. There I lived and worked for two fantastic years! I have been an adjunct clinical instructor within the Division of Dental Hygiene at the University of Michigan since 2009 and thoroughly love working chair side with our dental hygiene students. Most recently I taught at Hope Dental Clinic and VINA and found that through these experiences my desire to help serve the underserved has greatly increased. This part of my life gives me abundant gratitude as a contributor to society. I continue to practice and perfect my skills as a clinical dental hygienist at a private practice, while keeping current with digital software and working with laser treatment. I am a member of the American Dental Hygienist's Association (ADHA).
