Dr. Daler E. Tarrazzi grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, where she earned her DDS degree in 2000 from Universidad Central de Venezuela, School of Dentistry. In 2002 she joined the Graduate Prosthodontic program at the University of Michigan, which she completed in 2005 to obtain her Master of Science Degree.
Her area of research is related with the fracture resistance of single implant-supported restorations using ceramic implant abutments. Dr. Tarrazzi joined the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences in June 2005 as a Clinical Lecture, increasing her teaching commitment to become a Clinical Assistant Professor in 2007. She currently teaches prosthodontics in the Comprehensive Care Clinics, directs the Foundation Curriculum III Removable Prosthodontics for the ITDP, and co-directs the Introduction to Prosthodontics course.
