BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Craig Misch graduated Omicron Kappa Upsilon from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1985. He then obtained specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh and received certificates in prosthodontics, oral implantology as well as a Master of Dental Science. Thereafter he was appointed Co-Director of the University of Pittsburgh Oral Implantology Center. Dr. Misch then completed specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Pittsburgh and is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Misch practices as a dual specialist in Sarasota, Florida. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Florida and the University of Alabama in the departments of periodontics and prosthodontics. Dr. Misch serves on the editorial boards of Implant Dentistry, the Journal of Oral Implantology and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He also has published extensively with over 40 publications and 18 textbook chapters. Dr. Misch in actively involved in clinical research and is a member of the Clinical Needs Advisory Board for the Michigan-Pittsburgh-Wyss Regenerative Medicine Resource Center. He lectures on the topics of reconstructive surgery, bone augmentation, implant surgery and prosthodontics.
