Description of Research Area(s):

Dr. Clarkson is involved with the effect of dentin proteins on dentin remineralization, the etiology of  dental flouorosis, the regeneration of dental mineralized tissue especially the dentin enamel junction using stem cells, and the synthesis of HAP/FAP crystals and films for creating synthetic enamel, producing new restorative materials and treating senstive dentin.
