School of Dentistry Class Photographs
School of Dentistry Class Photographs
(1876-2009)
Beginning in 1876, composite class photographs of each Dentistry graduating class were created. The practice continues today. Most of this collection is in the style of composite photographs where individual images were placed on a board with names labeled directly under the individual portrait to create one overall image.
Missing years: No composite photos have been found for 1943 or 1947. The Sindecuse Museum of Dentistry would like to acquire a 1998 class composite so it can be added to this series. There was no graduating class in 1904 because the requirements to graduate changed from a 3 to 4 year program that year.

A searchable name index of graduates (this takes you away from this webpage) is available for class years 1876-2008. Newer years will be added soon. In the meantime, if you need to learn when a Dentistry student graduated, you may contact the Bentley Reference desk or the Sindecuse Museum. This information will assist you with locating which class photo to search.
Please contact the Sindecuse Museum of Dentistry if you have a class photo from one of the missing years to donate or lend it for copying purposes.
Go to the Bentley Historical Library website to view and download Dentistry Class Photos and learn how to order a print.
