Shannon O'Dell works full-time managing all Museum functions including managing Museum staff, addressing reference questions, collection acquisitions and development, collection care and access, Museum research and exhibits, facilities maintenance, finances and purchasing.

Student Staff
The Museum routinely employs two to three part-time University of Michigan students in on-going or short term projects. Our student assistants research, catalog and photograph or scan artifacts and documentary materials, maintain and plan new exhibits, and design Museum marketing and program literature. The Museum also encourages skilled volunteers to assist us with similar projects as workspace and supervision allows.

Andrew Szczembara, U-M undergraduate majoring in biology, focuses his efforts on cataloging, inventorying and photographing artifacts.		Emma Wolman, U-M graduate student in the School of Information, is the Museum's Web content editor and works with digital objects.
Amber Ostaszewski, U-M undergraduate majoring in art history and museum studies, keeps inventory of artifacts and archives.
