Timeline for the Application Process
September 2008:| 1. | Review the SRP Requirements to be sure you have the time and commitment necessary to complete the program. |
| 2. | Find a mentor. All students should attend the Student Research Program Preview on September 8, 2008. This is an excellent opportunity to meet mentors. |
October 2008:
| 3. | New Students: Complete the Mentor Interview Form, due in the
Office of Research by 12:00 noon on Friday, October 10, 2008. Students Returning to a Different Mentor: Complete the Mentor Interview Form, due in the Office of Research by 12:00 noon on Friday, October 10, 2008. Returning students: Complete the Returning Student Mentor Form, due in the Office of Research by 12:00 noon on Friday, October 10, 2008. |
December 2008:
| 4. | Complete the SRP Application. Application packets are due in the Office of Research by 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 2008. |
January 2009:
| 5. | New Students: All students are strongly encouraged to submit an AADR application. Returning Students: All returning students are required to submit an AADR application. Work with the Office of Research to review your proposal before submitting it at http://www.iadr.com/awards/studentresearch.html. AADR applications are due via online submission by 11:59 pm on Monday, January 14, 2009. |
February 2009:
| 6. | Give an Oral Presentation to the SRP Committee in February 2009 (date TBA). |
