Final Report Guidelines
A formal research report is due in to the Office of Research by
March 31, 2009. The manuscript should be
approximately 8 to 12 pages in length, double-spaced, 12 pt. font. The text should include the following:
- Title page with title (10 words or less), authors, and institution
- Abstract and a list of 5 key words
- Introduction (should include a brief review of the literature and research
objective(s))
- Materials and methods (should include references to statistical procedures, if used)
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments
- References (using a standard format which includes: complete author list, title, journal, volume, inclusive page numbers, date)
- Tables (each on a separate page)
- Figure legends
- Figures (each figure on a separate page)
- List of publications (abstracts and full papers) and poster presentations that resulted from your SRP project (separate
page)
The
SRP Evaluation should also be turned in at this time.
