Dental Emphasis Day / Dental Career Day
High School Students
Dental Emphasis Day is held in conjunction with the Open House. High school students from the area are invited to the School of Dentistry where they are given a tour and connected with dental students for hands on dental activities. The activities include dental anatomy drawing, handling dental models and dentures, and watching dental students take impressions. The participants also attend a presentation from a speaker on how they became a dentist.
