My scholarly activity has centered on curriculum innovation and assessment. Current projects include:

• Web-based patient simulations to teach genetics in a dental context
• Web-based patient simulations to teach research skills in a dental context
• On-line student assessment
• Competency assessment of students using patient simulations
• Preparing disadvantaged students for dental school admission
