Research Interests

My research focus has been in the area of women’s oral health. My current research concentration is on breast cancer and its relationship with oral health. Specifically, how endocrine deprivation therapy effects women’s oral health, oral health-related quality of life and patterns of dental utilization in patients with breast cancer. It is my vision that this research will assist dental professionals and physicians in the recognition and management of endocrine deprivation treatment related oral health effects and will improve the oral health-related quality of life among early stage breast cancer survivors.
