Dr. Fabio Rizzante received his DDS in 2012 from the Bauru School of Dentistry – University of São Paulo, Brazil. At the same school, he also completed his Master’s Degree in Operative Dentistry in 2015 and started his PhD in the same year. After dental school, Dr. Rizzante also got advanced training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, and start to lecture in undergraduate and advanced education programs focusing in Operative Dentistry and Dental Materials. In 2016, Dr. Rizzante came to Michigan as a Research Scholar in the BMS department and started to teach part-time in the same department in 2017.
Dr. Rizzante’s current research interests include the evaluation of direct and indirect restorations, as well as the application of new digital technologies to improve quality and workflow of dental procedures.
