Dr. Alhalabi grew up in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. He graduated from King Saud University in 2007, receiving his bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) degree. He joined the Restorative Dental Sciences department at Salman Bin Abdulaziz University (SAU) as a teaching assistant, where he taught full-time in the dental school's undergraduate clinic and pre-clinic lab as an instructor. He also worked as a part-time instructor at King Saud University for two years. In 2011, Dr. Alhalabi joined the prosthodontic department in the "Post-Doctoral Scholars Program" at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry to improve his knowledge and ability to manage more complex cases. After completion of his prosthodontic training he will join the Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics (CRSE) department as part of the Restorative Dentistry graduate program to obtain his M.S degree. After completing that program, he will return to teach as a faculty member at Salman University.
