The course focuses on teaching restorative concepts to clinical students in a one-on-one setting and in a group setting (i.e. seminars and lectures). Each student will be assigned to teach in a preclinical technique course for one session per week and will self-evaluate their own teaching, analyzing strengths and weaknesses. Emphasis will be placed on using technology and media (PowerPoint, Photoshop, etc.) to enhance teaching. Development of a teaching portfolio will also be demonstrated in anticipation of an academic career.
