Scan to File and Scan to Email
- There are several Konica scanner-copiers throughtout the school
that are able to scan a file, save it as a .pdf document and e-mail it.
- Press the scan/print button.
- Touch 'scanner' on the LCD screen.
- Select an e-mail inbox by pressing the letter corresponding to the initial
letter of the person’s last name or the letter closest to that letter: e.g., pressing G will bring
up names starting with G and H.
This assumes that the e-mails have been entered/registered. To enter a new email: touch 'E-Mail' and enter the registration number, the email address and the name. - Touch the name.
- Touch OK.
- Touch 'filename'.
- Type text. Use DEL. to delete characters.
- Touch OK.
- Touch 'pdf'.
- Touch 'one-sided' or 'two-sided' as the case may be.
- Touch 'Quality' and choose appropriate dpi. '600 dpi' should work for most documents. See p.346 in the 'Quick Reference Scan to File and Scan to Email Guide' (Konica 7130).
- Place the document FACE UP in rack.
- Press the START button.
The scanner/copier must be connected to the network. Call Konica at
1-248-478-0007 or 1-800-909-3117 to have it set up.
These instructions were tested on Konica 7022:
