- 2006 - This fair focused on the school's integration of axiUm electronic health record management. Demonstrations of the secure management of digital intra-oral photography and radiography to help prepare today's students for complete elctronic health record management.

- 2005 - Information security as well as maintaining compliance to the guidelines set forth in HIPAA are central to the work performed by Dental Informatics. The 2005 IT Fair brought together IT professionals from several UM departments / offices associated with the many layers of information security. Representatives from UM Audits, UMHS Compliance and Information Technology and Security Office participated in a panel discussion that addressed best practices for saving, collaborating or sharing sensitive information; disposing of obsolete or unwanted computer hardware; and issues regarding use of email and how it relates to HIPAA.
- 2004 - Similar in scope and format to 2003 with displays of innovative uses of technology and vendors. However the theme of the 2004 IT Fair focused on security issues regarding information technology.
- 2003 - Our 1st annual IT Fair. Emphasis was placed on showcasing the multitude of innovative uses of technology in the clinics, labs and classrooms. IT vendors from Apple, HP, NEC, UM Computer Showcase, and others were on hand with displays and products to demonstrate.
