Tina Pryor is the School of Dentistry's Human Resources Director. The HR Director is responsible for HR strategy, leading, and managing the overall function of Human Resource services, policies and programs for the School encompassing both faculty and staff. One key responsibility is to provide management oversight and leadership for the Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) which facilitates the many and various personnel transactions initiated by departments. Reporting to the Sr. Associate Dean, the HR Director advises leadership and management on various HR strategies and employment issues pretaining to:
- Affirmative Action and EEO
- Compensation & Classification
- Faculty Searches
- HR Policy and Compliance
- Recruiting/Onboarding
- Staff & Union Relations
- Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Workforce Planning
Another key role of the Director is to develop and lead HR practices, objectives and initiatives that foster a great place to work and learn culture that emphasizes quality service, excellence, effeciency, productivity and standards, goal attainment, on going development; and, the recruitment and retention of a diverse and talented faculty and staff.
