Christoph Ramseier, DMD

Dr. Ramseier received his DMD degree in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry from the University of Berne, Switzerland in 1995.  He became a board certified Specialist SSO/EFP on Periodontology in 2004. Dr. Ramseier began at the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry in the fall of 2004 as a Ramfjord Visiting Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine.  He came to the Michigan Center for Oral Health Research (MCOHR) as a Research Fellow in 2005.  His research activities include Integrated Microfluidic System for Oral Diagnostics; Gene Transfer Therapy for Periodontal Regenerative Medicine; Implementation and Evaluation of Tobacco use Cessation in Dentistry; Implementation of E-Learning in the Dental Curriculum.
