Biologic & Materials Sciences Department Chair
Paul Krebsbach, DDS, PhD was appointed as Chair of the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences and Division of Prosthodontics effective March 1, 2005.
Dr. Krebsbach received his DDS from the University of Minnesota in 1987 and his PhD in Oral Biology from the University of Connecticut in 1993. Following a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institutes for Health, he was appointed to the faculty of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in the Department of Oral Medicine/Pathology/Oncology in 1996. In 2001 he was promoted to Associate Professor of Dentistry. He also holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering.
