The AEGD Clinic is an open plan clinic with state-of-the-art equipment. The clinic has both electric handpieces and air turbines so residents gain experience in using both types of systems.

The AEGD clinic has a dedicated waiting room and reception desk for the clinic. The reception desk is staffed by a Front Desk Manager and clerk who are responsible for scheduling patient appointments, patient check-in and check-out procedures, as well as managing patient communications with the program.

The AEGD clinic has a portable microscope for use by residents during their clinical treatment. It is primarily used with the endodontic procedures but is also of use during surgical and crown and bridge procedures.

The AEGD clinic has eight CEREC 3D systems available for resident use. The complete range of ceramic restorations, inlays, onlays, crowns, and veneers can be fabricated with the system chairside for a single appointment procedure. The Computerized Dentistry Center directed by Dr. Fasbinder has provided CEREC educational courses for doctors and assistants for the past 10 years. It is also the primary research facility for CEREC clinical research in North America.

A significant focus of the AEGD program is CAD/CAM and digital dentistry. A Lava COS digital impression system is available for fabrication of ceramic restorations without the need for impression materials. Three-dimensional scans of the patient's dentition are recorded for electronic transmission to the dental laboratory.

Esthetic Dentistry is a focus of the AEGD program. Digital tooth shade measurement devices, such as the Easy shade (Vident), are available for resident use. A number of different bleaching techniques are utilized in the clinic, including chairside Zoom bleaching.

The adjoining laboratory facility to the AEGD Clinic has individual laboratory benches that are assigned to each resident. All laboratory instruments and equipment are provided for the residents during the program.

The dental laboratory adjoining the clinic has two computer workstations with internet and printer access. Digital card readers are installed in the computers to download digital pictures resident stake using the program's digital cameras.

The clinic conference room is adjacent to the clinic and is utilized on a daily basis for teaching consultations and seminars during the program. It is equipped with a computer, internet access, and completely integrated with an LCD projection system.

The AEGD program has an active partnership with two Community Dental clinics. Residents spend 2-week rotations in each of the Community Clinics four times during the year.
