MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE

The University of Michigan requires all international students, scholars and their dependents to have health insurance coverage. If you do not have health insurance, you must enroll with the International Center when you arrive on campus. The International Center is located at 603 East Madison Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109-1370. Your insurance will not be effective until you have filled out the form. The cost for the policy is as follows: student $1,188.00 annually; student and one dependent $4,932.00 annually; student and two or more dependents $8,676.00 annually.
