Dr. Kiyono Yamashita received her DDS degree from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan. She completed her Prosthodontic training at Tokyo Medical and Dental University and then worked as an instructor. In 1998 she came to the U.S. with her husband and has lived in both Texas and Michigan. Her husband, Dr. Junro Yamashita, is an assistant professor in the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences, Division of Prosthodontics. Dr. Kiyono Yamashita joined the Department of Biologic and Materials Sciences in August 2006 as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer.
