Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
Our faculty, staff and students work together to serve the public through teaching, research, and patient care. This four year program graduates over 100 students every year who enter general practice or go on to study dental specialties.
Dental Hygiene (BS DH)
Dental Hygiene offers the entry level program which grants the bachelor’s degree upon graduation. Additionally, degree completion and graduate programs are available. Career opportunities exist in a variety of settings.
Graduate Programs and Certificate Programs
The University of Michigan School of Dentistry, one of the nation’s premier dental schools, offers post graduate courses in twelve areas. The programs are designed to produce graduates to become Board Certified and able to pursue careers in clinical practice, education or research.
Internationally Trained Dentist Program (DDS)
The University of Michigan School of Dentistry Internationally Trained Dentist Program (ITDP) offers an opportunity for dentists who are graduates of foreign dental schools to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
