Residents - Class of 2018

Sarah Alsadun

Dr. Sarah Alsadun was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She obtained her dental degree from Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy (RCDP). After graduation, she completed a 1-year internship at the dental clinic at RCDP and the oral and maxillofacial surgery department at Riyadh Military Hospital.

Dr. Alsadun later began a research fellowship in oral science at the University of Pennsylvania where she contributed to numerous articles the school published. Upon completion of the fellowship in 2015, Dr. Alsadun started the Graduate Prosthodontics Program at the University of Michigan. Once she obtains the combined certificate/masters degree, Dr. Alsadun hopes to excel as a prosthodontist in private practice and deliver the gift of knowledge to dental students.


Daniel Cortes

Dr. Daniel Cortes was born and raised in Monterrey, México. In 2012, he graduated from dental school at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, with honors, being 1st place in his class. After finishing his undergraduate studies in 2013, Daniel started a community service project in the dental clinic "Guadalupe Dental Module" in Monterrey México, which is administrated by the National Ministry of Health. During this year, he practiced in clinical oral rehabilitation, surgery, endodontics, periodontics and diagnosis.

Finally, it is his objective to assume a leadership position as a dentist that participates in activities to improve the quality of prosthodontics in Mexico, by delivering high quality work in every project that he enrolls in. He truly believes that the Graduate Prosthodontics Program will allow him to undertake new challenges and enhance his personal and professional development.


Daniel Hammaker

Dr. Daniel Hammaker was born in Dayton, Ohio, but has spent most of his life in southeastern Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2010, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in 2014. Before entering the Graduate Prosthodontics Program, Dr. Hammaker spent time working in private practice and teaching at the School of Dentistry. In the future, he hopes to own a private practice in southeastern Michigan and continue teaching at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.


Nuntaporn Rojanasakul

Dr. Nuntaporn Rojanasakul was born and raised in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. She earned her DDS degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University in 2007. Immediately after graduation, she began practicing in the Dental Division, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University until she received a scholarship and was accepted to further study in the Graduate Prosthodontics Program at the University of Michigan in 2015. After graduation, Dr. Rojanasakul plans to take back what she has learned here to serve and help the people in her Thai homeland.
