Appointment Information

What are the dental center’s hours?

All appointments for initial and routine dental visits are scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and Noon or 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Emergencies are seen on a walk-in basis.

What are the details I need to know for my first appointment?

For the initial dental appointment, patients are asked to come at least 30 minutes early to fill out necessary registration forms. Remember, being on time is important to ensure that the treatment you have been scheduled for will be completed. If you are late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.

Your first visit, which will take approximately an hour and a half, will include a thorough examination and radiographs (if needed). In most cases, a cleaning will be performed in a follow-up visit. If you have had dental radiographs (xrays) made within the past twelve months, you are encouraged to bring them with you to your first appointment. If the faculty dentist determines additional radiographs are required for covered services, those radiographs will be provided at no additional cost.

If you are currently being seen by a physician or have a medical condition that requires special attention during your dental treatment, we may need a letter from your physician to help us provide you with the highest quality care.
