The Nobel Biocare/University of Michigan "Center For Excellence" was established in January of 1994 through mutual cooperation of the School of Dentistry and Nobel Biocare. The international reputation of investigators in the School of Dentistry and Nobel Biocare researchers and personnel, and the commitment of these individuals to excellence provided a sound basis for establishing such a Center at the School of Dentistry. The mission of the Center is to investigate areas of health care and human services that are of mutual interest to both Nobel Biocare and scientists in the School of Dentistry. Upon completion of these investigations, the results will be posted to the Web site where they can be read by clinicians, teachers, researchers, and other interested parties throughout the world.
